The range of this function should be all real numbers, shouldn't it? At the upper limits of the domain, 10^2x will apprach 10^14, but ln(21 - 3x) will approach negative infinity. It'll be positive until you get very close to 7, but it will go negative, and it will go all the way. For the negative side, 10^2x approaches 0 as ln(21 - 3x) approaches infinity, so the function approaches infinity.

any tip on how remember all ur math rules... i tend to forget stuff after sometime if i am not using them and then i gotta re-learn them thanks!

+rohan vekaria Like you said, it's use it or lose it. But I'd collect all of the formulas and rules in one place, and then seeing them all together over and over might help you remember them better.

If f and g are differentiable functions of one variable, prove that integration over closed smooth curve C (f(x)dx+g(y)dy)=0 for every piecewise-smooth simple closed curve in D. Green's Theorem problem. plz send me its solution.

There is one negative value as well in range (-3.51) How can u say that all are positive ????????????

Can you please explain what happens to the range of a many-one function (I'm using this term to mean functions which have same values of f(x) for different x such as sin(x), I'm not sure what their actual name is) where the function is undefined at any one point but defined at others for example take the function f(x)=((x^2)*(x-2))/(x-2). Can you please help me I can't figure out how to express the range of this function.

This is incorrect. Try plugging in x values that are very close to 7. Th range goes from negative infinity to some large positive number
