i really liked your explanation and i wanted to ask you what would happen if fz (min13:45) =0 would my potential be just the the fx+k? the zero does not appear on the Fz portion to compare it to like your example does

"The derivative of 0 is just a constant." How is that possible?

the integral of of a Constant is zero so if you have zero and want to know where it came from. you take the intral of zero that can only be obtain from integral of zero
