It's been a week since I've been trying to do this, following tons of tutorials, but I'm still at where I started. Here are the steps that I followed: 1. Made a react-native app named AdsTest. 2. Made a test app on Admob and got an App ID. 3. Set it up exactly as asked in the docs in my app.json. 4. Ran the command npx react-native run-android. 5. Copied the banner ad example from their docs to test. And even after all of this, there's nothing on my screen, not even an empty space in place of the Ad. I don't get it! Am I missing anything?

Finally figured it out! Leaving the solution here just in case someone else is stuck as well. What I was missing was the additions to the Android manifest as well as build.gradle file. Just go to google's admob integration docs, there's probably 2-3 steps and that's it!

Great job! Thanks for sharing the solution those changes to the Android manifest and build.gradle are really important but easy to miss. I'm sure this will help others who have the same problem. Thanks for posting the fix!

in my app it is not showing . it is just occupying the space nothing is visible in that place .

Make sure that the Android app ID is set correctly and that the emulator has a proper internet connection. If you still face any issues, please let me know.
