Hi, thanks for the video, I have a question about the fields part, I have a collection called Pages and normally in WordPress with ACF I generate a specific field for each page, how would I do it in payload ? Because I only have one configuration file Collection for that collection called Pages, greetings from Colombia

Thanks for the question and greetings 🇨🇴! In Payload, you can handle specific fields for each page using block-based layouts or conditional fields: Blocks let you mix and match content types (e.g., Hero, Contact Form). Conditional Fields show/hide fields based on settings like "Page Type." For shared data like headers, use Globals. We’ll cover this in depth in a future video, so stay tuned! 🙌

Q: How can i use dynamic filtering on a web page, for example blogs by categories? Do we need to use the rest API? If yes what do you suggest for this situation.

You'll be able to do this with the local api since you're querying data "internally" from Payload. We'll cover this in a later lesson!

Hey, just a suggestion - we're in 2025, and tutorials like this don't seem to work as well anymore. It would be awesome to see more real, hands-on videos rather than just a narrator reading off information. I hope you take this as constructive feedback, not an attack. Good luck with your future content!
