is it okay if i just use google-services.json that i got from firebase console? because i can still use my maps by using that key (i didn't put the api key on the xml file). Are they(key for firebase and maps key) the same thing?

Is this also works offline? Im building an app now where user can navigate to the map in offline. I found your tutorial, and I think its a big help for me. Is it possible navigating in offline?

Give CC info and all the stuff.. click Next, and when it asks for the CVV, cancel the auth transaction.. this is how I bypassed it..

Hey! I'm a beginner in android, I'm working on a project and your tutorials have been of great help to me! Good Job! However, I tried many variants and I do not know how to change my current location, it displays your location, even if I changed the firebase coordinates and specify that the location is activated (On). I need to connect to my own phone? or can just get my current location with the AndroidStudion simulator? If you can, I'm waiting for advice !Thx

you can search for the dependancies in android studio right click app > open module settings > dependancies tab > + then search ces-maps

Mitch, what a great tutorial. Hats off :-) :-) I am new to android and tried to create a android studio project step by step. I used a map activity in the project wizard. After creting the project, I simply tried to buidl it without doing any further coding. it gives error "Manifest merger failed with multiple errors". The mergerd mainfest states this: Merging Errors: Error: tools:replace specified at line:15 for attribute android:appComponentFactory, but no new value specified app main manifest (this file), line 14 Error: Validation failed, exiting app main manifest (this file) I tried to google it but cannot resolve the issue. I was bit surprised that simple map project without any code is not able to run!!!!!! Any help will be much appreciated.
