What a good idea. I've seen the molle on packs they make for plate carriers and always wondered what the point was if you have to remove your carrier everytime you need something out of the pack. Your method to me seems much more well thought out and practical.
@MikeS3092 жыл бұрын
really that's only good if you are working in a team and the rest of your team knows what is in those pouches. So if your a cop and have breaching tools in there, then the guy behind you on the stack can grab them out when needed.

I Love how easy this kzbin.infoUgkxvAj3godqGAIP5rApM1laH767JGtPG1-h carrier is to adjust from my friend to me taking turns holding the baby! It provides great support on my back too! This has definitely made shopping easier! I always get asked where I get it too!

I think the pack is this www.dragogear.com/products/backpacks/tracker-backpack-1.html . Now for the plate I don't know, personaly I will use my tactec.

Look up the Plate Carrier Pack by shaw concepts. Basically the same thing just more streamlined. Honestly amazing that this type of backpack isn't more popular.

Do you think an integrated straped pack would work if the lower part of the strap had the buckles that clip? Great idea by the way, better thean molle integration.

This is exactly the video I was looking for and thank you for showing it then continuing with the video. Do you find the backpack strap gets in the way of you shouldering a rifle? If so since you are running a 2 mag pouch could you run the right shoulder strap clip to where the pistol mag pouch is to help keep it inbound and not interfere with shouldering a weapon?

Really like how you did this by simple means. What I don't get is why you're doing it. Adding gear on the rucksack straps to be able to reach them while marching is one thing, but adding to the back of your vest/plate carrier doesn't do it for me. I'd rather just wear both pieces independently.

I've been searching for this type of video for a while. It would be nice if you changed the title to something that is more searchable. Although, I have a feeling that this is the ONLY video on YT that demonstrates this.

Definitely a cool setup. This is what having this kind of equipment is all about. It takes hours of tinkering and observing and adjusting and rucking to really understand how it all works. I bought a pack for my hydration bladder which comes with two big pockets on it. It’s for rucking and QRF small skirmishes. In the event of having to spike out and gather intel and what not I’ll use my three day pack by condor and throw that over my carrier but I definitely like the option of just throwing it on and off of me without using buckles and keeping the carrier on myself.

Merica Bitch it is an inch above the navel. Plates were smaller for better mobility but less coverage

Cole is correct. The reference point is the sternal notch. Plates cover the cardiac triangle, i.e. the core vital organs. Most people do wear them far too low.

Looks like it keeps the straps out of the shoulder pocket and more inboard, so it would be much easier than trying to shoulder with a regular pack setup
