you could have used the `--use-npm` flag for create-next-app to use npm instead of yarn.

re the yarn, npm and pnpm mess at the start: that's why I try as much as possible to keep yarn far away from my computer, and why I only use npm... I get that the alternatives sometimes have some nice features, but I hate having those tools pushed in my face all the time...
