The first question the 5 is a constant and when integrating a constant u add d variable given only. But for the second question the 5 is with a 'X' that means u have to integrate it by adding 1 to it power since the 5x is raised to the power 1.

The fraction is another way of saying “inverse of x squared”. It’s one of the laws of indices

So for exponents, if it’s a positive power you write it as it is like x^2. For negative numbers, you either write it as x^-2 or you have it divided by 1 as 1/x^2 changing the 2 to a positive in the denominator
