Thanks guys for your excellent haul videos and vlog from the convention. Like last year, it gave me a real sense of being there. I've spent a small fortune getting the dolls on Ebay that I wanted from the convention. I LOVE my Darius, I just HAD to get him! He is SOOOO Superfly! He is the best Pimp doll, ever, and that hot pink suit and hat are Everything! I HAD to get the fur and shoes from Checks and Balances Elias Veiga to go with the Pimp theme. I'll send you Darius's silver shoes if you haven't gotten them yet. They just don't make sense with his outfit, unless he's running from the cops. Maybe I'll use them on someone else....

Darius is far too expensive. For just that suit..? Outrageous. My favorite was definitely young romantic Poppy. I think I preferred last year’s collection overall but there were some unique looks this time. Great video as always boys!

Catching up on all these videos! LOL 1. okay so the FR line has - at the base/core - a very involved storyline, some of which can be read here - www.dollsinfo.com/FR/StoryCards.htm Eugenia is actually the cousin of the other 4 Perrins, which was a twist reveal during her initial introduction back in 2007. Both she and the heirloom version are both screening updates of her 'Going Public' edition. 2. I definitely think Kimono's obi belt is what throws her entire shape off. the 60s mini dress doesn't work with such a wide obi - maybe if it was slimmer by a LOT? 3. Nadja had to grow on me and while I didn't personally go for her I think now I can appreciate her fully 4. Aurelia and Adele were the two I almost grabbed - or at least wanted to - but couldn't. I'm not sure if I said this at the con but Aurelia reminds me of a very special holiday doll which I can appreciate even if it isn't versatile while Adele is 'The Muse' for today and people have been redressing her nicely already. 5. Garden Poppy I think is a beautiful doll but budgeting for con had me skipping out on her - as did the dress. I'm sure she redresses perfectly but I do feel she is overshadowed a bit by the other 10 poppys at this con (I had to count but no - 2 from the con line, 2 from the lunch and style lab. oof!) 6. Frankly I'm still mourning Darius and in general the monarchs have been overpriced in comparison to their homme counterparts (Bellamy Blue's first doll came with 2 shirts, a great overcoat and a ton of accessories for $130 for example) and between a new face & that price he had to stay. I do think he'll be a great canvas for customizing. 7. Plum is fun and it's nice to see them reuse an old sculpt - from the american horror story line - but she was another budgetary skip. I hope we see her again however! My faves align with Max's - YR Poppy's juliet fantasy does evoke fashion fairytale which makes me nostalgic since that was my first and only con until this one while ER Eugenia allowed me to finally sate my desire for a 'Going public' version, who is just beyond my price range for good LOL
