I bought a set of Intel wireless chip and 5GHz antennas. It was my first AliExpress purchase and I'm happy it was successful. Since it only includes 5GHz antennas, 2.4GHz reception was poor.

You are the only one showing Intel 9560NGW PCI mini WLAN in KZbin. Some comment to share with you. 2GHz only used by 802.11N or older, so when you are teting 2GHz, you are testing 802.11N, not AC. 802.11ac only run in 5GHz. You should show the speed of the WiFi when connected to 802.11N (2GHz) and 802.11ac (5GHz), so we have idea the max limitation of the router. Although your router could support 300Mbps in 802.11N, but due to distance or noise, it might change dynamically. For any speed that it connected, ~30% of the bandwidth for TCP (such as http, ftp) is used for TCP handshake. So if your Internet speed is 100Mbps, then the max bandwidth visible to application is 80% of it, which is 80Mbps. These TCP overhead varies but they are required to ensure network packet is received by both end, as well as taken care of re-transmit on corrupted/missing packets

And in the video 5GHz speed was about 80Mbps, and seems like it's because of the TCP handshake. When I was buying the product I also couldn't find any resource, and that's why I decided to make the video. Sorry that my communication knowledge is not perfect, and having lack of content :)

Good to know about the BT needing the antenna. I've been trying to get the card to work and it's just not pairing with any device, so I ordered a set of antenna. Almost the same setup, but I've got the B365M mobo

@@KiyoonKimTech Yep the antenna are needed for the BT to connect. However, I have some serious lag with the mouse and keyboard using an internal card. No such lag using a usb BT adapter. Odd. I know Win10 can have some BT lag issues, but I would have thought it would have been across BT in general rather than device specifit.

Do those wifi card heats a lot, I'm having the same asrock mother board, The m. 2 wifi slot is just beneath the gfx card, So is it safe. Or the gpu fans will suck all the heat from m. 2 wifi card?

I have a slot ‘M.2 2230 for optional wireless NIC’ per the spec sheet. I purchased a 9260 only and got it to work. The connection is very low, I didn’t purchase antennas - you think antennae’s are required? I have the ROG AC5300 router and a Elite Desk Mini G3 mini. I had to play with settings to get it to work, very low connection. I have 1bar signal and the router is 1.5 meters away

I tested without antennas, and turned out that it either doesn't connect to the internet or connects with very poor connection. I think it's due to antennas.

My Lenovo S340-15IWL has a 9462 installed and apparently supports CNVi. I bought the 9560 and will update in a few days to confirm if it works.

@@KiyoonKimTech I just got it in the mail today, and it works perfectly! The first boot after installation was very long. I thought the laptop had a WiFi card blacklist, but it turned out that my OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 was being recognized as a USB drive, and my laptop is set to look for USB drives first lol I can personally confirm that the Lenovo S340-15IWL is compatible with the 9560!

I think for AMD you need AC9260, and see the motherboard specification if they have a slot for that.

I ordered mine at AliExpress (seller Wifibest store), but most likely you'd need to order cables and antennas separately unless the description does say they are all included. You can find many compatible cables and antennas if you search like "AC 9560 cables"

Hi, sorry for the late reply. If the spec doesn't say anything about CNVi, then it's likely not supported. You can try installing drivers but if it still doesn't work then you'd need 9260.

They're pretty much the same, but make sure your motherboard is compatible if you're using M.2. I'd use M.2 if I have that slot cause why waste it and leave it empty.

It might be because you haven't installed the driver, or the fault of the card. There are so many reasons so it's hard to tell. Try to install the driver and if it still doesn't work I recommend to contact the seller.

Having just bought a new motherboard (and parts) for a new workstation, I am considering using this CNVi socket to add WiFi. No one (including Aliexpress) thinks you're going to attach the antennas to the computer apparently! The ones on Amazon don't even come with (or picture/mention) antennas. And I've never seen antennas for sale already mounted in a card cage bracket. So everybody with a desktop computer has to fabricate their own solution, or use duct tape? Then there are different antenna connectors on different boards, and even Intel doesn't say whether this board has IPEX-4 or something else. Leave it to Intel to bring us a goat rodeo like this -- the folks that brought us USB, a connector so poorly engineered that it goes in the THIRD way you try it.

It is a big problem attaching antennas. Intel AC 9560NGW has 1.5 mm male sockets. Antenna connectors IPEX-4 do not keep tight without additional equipment.

@@JernxD It fits me well, it's an entry level gamer board, but you have to keep in mind that this board does not support overclock. Perhaps you should try the Z370 if you want OC, but it's funny that Z370 not support this new intel Ac 2x2. I can't tell you right now the differences cause I just purchased this new feature.

You are testing your ISP speed. Most of the times, that is the bottleneck in a home network. Wouldn't blame the WiFi card for it... Test your lan speed instead of internet speed.

I don't think so. In the specification, there are no CNVi mentioned. You should go to ASRock website and compare the specifications of mine and yours. I have CNVi and you don't. I believe AC 9260 will fit for your motherboard. I heard that it's similar but different type of slot. However you have to confirm if 9260 is compatible with yours, by contacting ASRock customer service.
