Why did my old computer just get locked down with Intel anti theft lock? What in the computer is causing this?

you could do compleate system reset. as i bet the "Intel Anti Theft Technology" just forces bios options. So you could remove the bios Batary all to gether so no polices could ever be in place

i have purchased e6420 but second hand but now i realize that this feature has already activated by the previous user and the shop keeper dont even know that user coz he just bought it from him there is not any problem my pc is working fine but i want to deactivate it then reactivate this feature by myself !?

You need to reach out to the previous owner and then contact Absolute support. They will need to retrieve the original owner verification to remove the software.

This is BS I purchased an Ultrabook which locked up the lease back period was completed and now a 7 year old unit will cost $ 1500 to change motherboard cause that is the only way to do it or smash the darn think to pieces
