One typically finds this in RTX cards Eg 2060 RTX 6GB ( Turing ) 3070 RTX 8GB ( Ampere ) So technically yes, with an Ampere GPU like the 3060 RTX 12GB You can make use of the new NVENC technology I think that 1650 Super GTX 1660 GTX 1660 Super GTX 1660 Ti GTX Have the same NVENC technology With the EXCEPTION of the 1650 GTX which uses older NVENC ( I think its equivalent to that of Pascal found in eg 1060 GTX )

@@clashclach4276 In general Hardware Encoding of a video using a GPU is much faster than using your CPU Some use NVENC Some use QSV which is also called Quick Sync The recent Intel CPUs that include integrated graphics can do hardware encoding ( So NOT those ending with an " F " such as 10700F or 10900KF ) Though they are considered of less quality On the other hand If you want to stream while gaming or do video editing You would have to purchase a 5900X with 12 cores And that CPU is VERY expensive Some may say that the cost of higher quality encoding is not worth it when streaming a game like Fortnite

Seems like it's related with Nvidia Reflex Low Latency Boost. "This feature overrides the power saving features in the GPU to allow the GPU clocks to stay high when heavily CPU-bound". Check if this boost was enabled in the video you saw

Do you still recommend 3060 for this CPU? I bought my computer without GPU and now I'm thinking about to buy a GPU in it. Few site not recommend RTX3060 for i5-11400 because of the bottleneck is +20%. With GTX1660 the bottleneck is only 5%. For the current games which one you suggest?
