Hello everyone. Welcome to a new video on this channel. Today I am recommending 21 games that will definitely run on the Intel HD 4000. I am often asked what kind of games I can recommend for the HD4000. Or rather, I notice that many of you have totally wrong ideas about the performance of the HD 4000. Expectations are often far too high. But if you set this a little lower and have a rough estimate of the HD4000 in mind, or simply know what the HD4000 can do and can't do, you will not be disappointed.
For today's video, we use an HP EliteBook 8470p consisting of an Intel Core i5 3320M, 8GB of dual-channel RAM, and Intel HD4000. It is still important to install the latest Intel driver for the HD4000 from October 2020. It gives a decent performance boost in some games.
Not surprisingly, the 21 games from the video run well or very well on the HD4000. In the worst case, you have an Xbox360 performance experience like e.B. in Battlefield 3. In the best case, a much better performance than on the consoles of the time, such as in FIFA 14.
If you are interested in the performance of the HD4000 in more recent games, I also have something for you. I have already tested the same system in December 2020 with current games such as Fortnite, Fifa 21, and Valorant. It is perhaps also interesting for one or the other. also call od duty MW2,black ops,black ops2,medal of honor 2010,medal of honor airborne(of course on lower settings),mafia 2 runs perfectly,and i can confirm tomb rider 2013 works and oh almost forgot call of Juarez gunslinger one of the best ...if i remember some other games will let you know

I have same specs on my Thinkpad T430s but my CPU gets really hot when playing Far Cry 3 and COD: World At War both running hot at 90+ degrees Celsius with 30+ fps.

Thank you for your video. I got a Lenovo X230 with same specs as your vid. Confirmed to run : L4D2 and source games like Portal. Pinball FX2, Sonic all-stars racing transformed with some tweaks and FPS capping at 30. F1 2012 you tested, Dirt 3 is running well too. A great deal of 2D games like worms or platformers are alright.

I've been using my Lenovo laptop with same specs for few years now, here are the games I've played (note: I've rigged the laptop to be fully focused on games performance, no background tasks of anything): - GTA V with dozens upon dozens of addon cars and other mods (24-90 fps) - PES 2021 also with many mods basically making it PES 2023 (30 fps) - BeamNG drive again with many mods (20-45 fps) - The Walking Dead all seasons - Life is Strange also all games including the last one 2021 LiS True Colors (15-60 fps) - Resident Evil HD remaster (2015) - Resident Evil 4 - Timberborn (45 fps) - BioShock Remastered (2016) - Transport Fever 2 you can make the game work perfectly fine with performance mod - Dead or Alive 5 LR (2015) - Subnautica (2014) Games that don't work: - Resident Evil 2 and 3 (remakes) you can launch the game but it crashes on loading screen - Stray (2022) - Cities Skylines (2015) - Road 96 (2021) you can start the game but after few minutes of playing it crashes, duration depends on what beginning you choose but at some point it'll crash.

I also got an EliteBook 8470p with an i7 and the HD 4000 GPU. However most games crash or have graphic glitches. I reinstalled the drivers and also tried different versions... Now I have no clue what to do next, since I got no improvement so far.
