This is not the first time Intel is coming up with a dram on chip design. Intel released Lakefield SoC way back in 2019 with DRAM chips 3d stacked on the chip. This one in picture has the DRAM chips on the package.

Yes even Amd radeaon GPU are made way long ago with on package ram.

My PC has an AMD Ryzen 5600G, so I don't have a separate GPU… 🤔🤔 unless AMD has some GPU that can beat their APU? 🤔🤔 I'm not certain, I try to keep up, but I'm on my own and never been hired after I became CompTIA A+ certified in 2003(20 years ago)! 😢😢

I think AMD has placed the new cards perfectly in the market. 7800XT for the enthusiast and the 7700XT for OEM builds. I can see this Christmas season the prebuilt gaming market shift away from Nvidia 3060 (12Gb) and that Nvidia begrudgingly lowers their price to match or slightly beat the AMD graphics cards. Of course there will always be contracts at places like Lenovo, Dell and Asus where the Nvidia brand has allowed them to increase the prebuilt market. Brilliant move from AMD, not gonna lie. When I saw the price, I looked over at my gaming rig and whispered.... soon....
