Mad respect. As an Ignition integrator, I’d love to work for someone with your values and outlook. I’ve started watching more of your videos lately. I knew your name nearly 3 years ago, and I’m finally starting to realize why. Thank you for your service to my industry and to the people whose lives you’ve changed.

The strongest bond you can have is values-based. There are only a handful of people I consider my mentor and learn not technical things, but also the life lessons from them. You are one of them. Looking forward to seeing more of you at iiot university 😃.

Your contribution to industry in general (not only in the USA) has been phenomenal Walker. Great to see someone authentic sticking to their values. Industry globally can only benefit from this move.

Values!!! What a word. I’m quite surprised of the way you wanted more empowerment for your team. Taking decisions based on values is sometimes opposite to the logic or to the common sense or to the natural flow of events. You are a humble and brave man. Admirable!

I know you Walker since 3 years when i searched internet to have a good material for IOT, watched all your videos, joined the Mastermind class, i learnt a lot but the main learning always that touched me is your values and the vision built on those values, you re-enforced to me the only meaning I believe is important to live for "The honor", Thank you so much

I'm happy that you will be focusing on 4.0 solutions and grateful for everything I've learned so far. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Always wondered about that regarding PLCs and webservices... Also I still don't understand entirely why the PLC (which is a type of computer) couldn't be replaced by a computer with similar control and computational capabilities and also have webservices :)...
@4.0Solutions5 ай бұрын
They do offer that. it's a soft-plc. or software plc. The stigma was they were less robust.

At what point of time had you made up your mind to leave intellic integration ? what exactly triggered this move or was it a planned move from beginning that you will build it up and leave it for the people working there to carry it forward ?
@4.0Solutions5 ай бұрын
there was a "Straw that broke the camels back" story that I'm sure you will love to hear...

I knew as early as 2017 I wanted Intellic to be employee owned in some capacity. I knew in 2021 that I would need to separate from Intellic to serve the community best through 4.0 Solutions, I knew midway through 2023 I had the team who could take over, I knew last month the time to do it is now. I’ll tell the entire story the day I am allowed to. 🙏

@@walkerreynolds973 Would Love to hear about the whole story. Serving the community is a grand life time mission, how about the sustainability ? The burden of supporting all the employees is heavy (never an easy task) , there are ups and down in any business , but to get people together to agree to this model is not easy ( Even though initially they may agree looking at present business scenario, how about future dedication? ). Can i say you were lucky to have a team that agreed and shared this dream/vision and would not suddenly close it some day in future if it finds a lean period or does not innovate to new up gradations ? How do you get to have such people ( Luck or followed some deep psychological analysis selection process while selecting you team ? To have a team that will be ever dedicated and not shift over to some other place ? How do you ensure that ? This business model sounds like having Knights to protect the holy grail ... How do you motivate people to become the Knights ( who would serve with their life) for intelli integration !! How many companies have you seen sustaining for long with this business model ( Close knit family business get into trouble at some point of time too) , does it work out in long term and you would leave the baby to face its future without supporting it later on? Or Have you cracked the Rockefeller philosophy ......
