I love this laptop concept that makes the screen flexible enough to turn all the way back to 360 degrees. That 360 degrees screen rotation is ideal when the touchscreen is incorporated with the 360 degrees rotation. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾. This technology should have been created many years ago, the HP spectre 360 2in1 laptop.

I'm on a 2020-2021 model (i7-1165G7). Battery life has perhaps gone from 11-12h to more like 10 in light use (browsing/documents/Office/MuseScore), but still more than enough most of the time. No noticeable performance drop. I'd love to have the newer models for the extra GPU performance, but I think I'll be happy with this one for years to come.

Do not buy, I’ve had mine for only 2 years. I only run light 1080p video editing, and simple adobe illustrator files. The laptop struggles heavily with windows 11, it feels bloated and slow. The SD card slot moves out of place a lot and the rubber foots on the keyboard side push themselves into the laptop and become useless. It’s treated with care but just has given up on me in recent months, not worth the price whatsoever. Repair wise, the laptop is easy to repair but would not purchase other windows laptops. The performance of Apple laptops is far superior with less bloated software and optimised apps. Much better for the same price point of these laptops, longer lasting, better build quality and smoother/less bloated software.

I had a Spectre. The battery bloated and had to be replaced at $300 because it was bending the motherboard from inside, then the hinge went and the entire screen would flicker and be completely unusable. HP told me to ship it to them for repairs and I did. They returned it and said it couldn’t be fixed. It’s a gorgeous machine but it’s a total lemon. 🍋

"High Performance," doesn't necessarily mean "Gaming." A GPU comes in handy when it comes to gaming but it could also perform GREAT as a workstation. As a SOC analyst, this is a great laptop, providing it has 16gb RAM, with 512GB SSD minimum and it also looks like it has biometrics security too. For gamers, not so much, but definitely High Performing for others.

Why though? Bezels are good if there's sensors, cameras, or other internal that need some space in the display. Not everything has to look like an XPS laptop. Also, keep in mind that this is a 2-in-1 so the bottom bezels are needed for the type of hinge it uses.
