Hongkong was the best, until they got misled with Hollywood path of CGI. Then instead keeping the #1 in choreographed movie, they produced crappy CGI movie. Nowaday, if you want good choreographed movie, seek those in Indonesia or Thailand.

This has been spliced with another anime... I'm not sure what the intense fight scene from the beginning is... Maybe it's the same anime but to get around yt censors!? Which is strange as the anime after which is in the same cel shaded style is called "Song of the Swordsman" and there's also "Song of the Swordsman 2" both of the anime is on this channel I think! So this beginning is weird... And I'm not sure why they've done it if they already have both of the animes on this channel as original... Maybe I've got it mixed up with another channel... But yeah song of swordsman 1 and 2 complete is officially out on a ton of Chinese KZbin channels! And yes the fight scenes rival anything in Hollywood full motion pictures as well as Chinese movies! The choreography and however they've achieved the mocap!? I don't know do the Chinese now mocap animes!? Would surely be a world first!???

In terms of fight choreography... it's fantastic. Only problem you run into when it comes to 3d models is the lack of facial expressions. Female at the beginning basically had a mannekin's face the entire time. And that old man is insanely strong.

3d are better, they more cinematic amazing(Such as Ling Cage:incarnation, Record of a mortal's journey to immortality, The Island of Siliang, Battle Through the Heavens, Sword of coming, Slay the gods, The Demon Hunter, Soul Land 1 and 2, Throne of Seal, Jade Dynasty, Swallowed Star, Big Brother, and more....)...And of course, since chinese animation focus more on 3d, there are better produced 3d as well as low budget production that work as fast food for animation. BTW the 3d I am saying is animated series, not movies...Chinese animated series are better than movies. Even such as the one here, it is animated series... If you want art style for 2d, Fog Hill of Five Elements is better than Blades of Guardians.
