You can definitely be offsides if all players on the opposing team are in the offensive half, and the red team was on the other side of the 50. That’s the definition of offsides. It would have only not been offsides if the red teams offensive players were on the 50 or on their defensive half.

Correct. They may have had their front foot over the 50 and back foot on it. It’s hard to tell on the freeze frame.

Its hard to tell if they were off since we can't see where they were before she kicked the ball at 8:12 but if they were on their half and she kicked the ball then crossed the half then yea she's onside but if they crossed the line then she kicked the ball then yea she's off but number 21 was kinda far so maybe she was off Hard to tell

The in-video caption is misleading. The attacker must FULLY be in their half of the field for no offside offense to occur. If the attacker is "standing" on the midfield line, then unless the attacker happens to be three inches thin, some legal / playable part of the attackers body is OVER the line, which places the attacker in an offside position. Likely, this is what actually happened.
