Intense thunderstorm with very loud thunder and non-stop lightning in Michoacán México March 6, 2019

A Cumulonimbus cloud formed above us with explosive development. That and very slow movement caused this storm to produce a lot of lightning. This storm also produced a small amount of rain, so it is considered a LP (Low Precipitation) thunderstorm.
Note: In the second half of the video, lightning strikes on my neighbor's house.

Summer thunderstorms in this area can be quite intense. Tornadoes can and do occur here, although rare. Hail occurs here as well with heavy rain and sometimes very high winds.

Same here. Here in Southern California, in the Los Angeles Basin, thunderstorms are rare. Most occur in the winter. Summer thunderstorms are really rare.

Yes sometimes but not always. Depends on the thunder I guess. The more powerful lightning strikes make the ground rumble, especially windows. Windows really rumble. The funny part though, is that sometimes lightning can strike very close and not make the windows rumble while some lightning strikes that are miles away can make them rumble. But if you are talking about earthquakes, earthquakes are very common here. They're usually from 4.0 down. I don't know if you have heard about the earthquake of 1985. That earthquake destroyed large parts of Mexico City and killed thousands. It is estimated that the deaths were between 3,000 and 20,000. The reason I bring that up is because that earthquake, of magnitude 8.0, ocurred on my state's coastal region which is 187 kilometers/116 miles away from where I live.
