FNHot When is the last time you did something for someone you didn't know? Regardless of delivery, he does this out of the goodness of his heart, and the heart knows no prejudice. Regardless of what is in the mind the heart always feeds it. Jeff Bezos has said: "Remarkable story tellers always find an audience." According to KZbin this episode has been viewed 312,215 times! John, thank you for taking the time to enlighten not only me, but 312,213 others.

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

Used to fish from my local harbor for mackerel, Mackerel go after anything, i used to use the tinfoil lid that came with a bottle of milk wrapped around a hook. Caught loads with that while others used all sorts of expensive lures ; } This is very good guy's, cheap, easy and quick ; }

This is brilliant. The best part is that if you make his fishing paracord bracelet and you end up in a survival situation you don't even need to find any bait.

Some really good ideas there for dressing up one of these little lures... thanks for passing 'em along. To answer your question: the lure does sink nice and slowly, allowing for some great jigging action. Thanks for the kind words & support by the way... much appreciated!

Depends on water conditions mostly. The orange and white was working awesome in the stained, low-visibility water that I was fishing here though... especially when the light started fading at dusk. Black/white is killer on our clear mountain streams for trout though! Tight lines Brother...

First really original thing I've seen w/paracord in sometime. I don't know who the 52 lunkheads are that gave you a thumbs down for this vid... I can only hope they were "missfires." I now have an idea to make my local fish freakshapoy and maybe a couple extra bucks for me. They'll but anything... lol I can even see a few "tweaks" for it in my head already. Thanks very much!

just tried this, thanks for sharing man!.....works great as a Jigg for Walleye-what i used and was killin them all day-chartreuse/neon yellow paracord and a shot weight 4-6 inches from the lure to keep it on the bottom. Best part is is that this lure dosent sink so it stays off the bottom

I started watching your videos a few months ago, and I must say that they are some of the better survival videos on KZbin.. As one who enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing, your videos kick butt and show some really fun and useful concepts. Makes me want to get out and try things such as this lure, and that straight hook (I forget the name of it though) you just showed. Keep the videos coming!

Great idea! This could also be a great way to dress a treble hook with "bucktail". Also, a sharpie pen can add visual texture to the body, and a bead or a ring of heat shrink tube can create a head if desired. I have to try this.

I'm not quite the angler my Pops hoped I might become, so I looked at this VID on a survival level - - anything to help get food on the end of your hook. And holy shit! I couldn't believe how fast you hooked one! Anyway, I like the detail you put into the VID right down to splaying each & every strand. Again, not much of a fisherman, but will be looking into your other VID's for some other helpful tips. God Bless & hope you & yours are COVID-FREE. Cheers from Aurora, CO.

Great tip. I bet you could even place a small feather or two in there before melting it if you were using a larger hook. I place a small spinner spoon with a very small split ring and attached it to the hook eye to give it a little flash. I never had anything to dress up the hook though, but I do now. Does this seem to want to float on top of the water more or does it sink? I really love your videos bro. Keep up the GREAT work.
