Hi Jamie, I am c++/Graphics developer at Samsung now. I found my first job in programming thanks to your OpenGL course(and other videos too). I just want to say THANK YOU!

Hey Jamie, hope that you read this. I came across your videos when learning about some more obscure areas of C++ like virtual method tables. I found your videos to be extremely fun and educational so I've been going through many of them. I see that this is the last video you've uploaded in 2+ years and the last one you've uploaded for the OpenGL playlist (which I just finished following). It's very sad that you've not been uploading but I'm sure you're busy. Just wanted to wish you the best in whatever you're working on right now, and thank you for making my learning experience so much better. Hope to see you back sometime.

Oh my god man!! Your alive!!! I recently stumbled into one of your videos few months ago and i got hooked. I’m a huge fan now and wanted to see what you were up to now but it’s like you don’t exist anymore. It was so heartbreaking for me that maybe something happened to you but seeing a reply you made to a KZbin comment 3 months ago made me so happy I’m crying right now. Please man give us an update, how are you? What are you upto? We care about you man, i know i do ❤❤❤ 🫡 Love from sri lanka 🇱🇰

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to let you know that your KZbin videos from the past have had a lasting impact on me especially the C# & related playlists, and I've missed new content from you. Your dedication to teaching and sharing knowledge is truly appreciated. While you may not have created new videos in a while, please know that your previous work continues to inspire and educate many, including myself. If you ever decide to return to creating content, I'm sure it will be eagerly welcomed by your audience. In the meantime, I hope you're doing well and that life has treated you kindly. Your contributions to the world of education are invaluable, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for that. Thank you Jamie Sir! ❤ From India 🙂

I absolutely love your videos they helped me to land my first job. I occasionally rewatch your C# videos just to keep myself from forgetting anything because I don't get to write in it often but still love it. Your style of teaching should be studied you first lay the foundation of everything I need to know and build upon that as you go on. I never feel lost but at the same time I am challenged with new information which always seems to fit somewhere I already know from previous videos. I can also see your motivation is to teach and not to make yourself appear as smart as possible by using complicated terms or examples sometimes badly drawn ms paint diagram is what it takes :D I am starting to learn c++ and more low level stuff and I am not even thinking about searching for other resources before I watch all your c++ videos other resources can only be worse because it can't get much better than yours. Thank you

Hey Jamie, just wanted to drop a line and let you know just how much you influenced me. I watched your C# series back when it was pretty new, and it has shaped my career. I don't do much .NET now, but the principles I learned then remain the foundation of my skillset. I came back to see if you ever did anything with Haskell? I've got a genius of a co-worker who likes to evangelize for it. If you decide to get back into making videos, functional programming might be a good target!

Curious. If the sphere were to not be square, but triangular which would mean three rays instead of 4 as shown...theoretically the sphere twice as far would be a 1/3 of the intensity. If this is true, then removing a ray actually intensified the light only because the sphere is a triangle. I don't know much about this field but gets one thinking about the effects of light being passed thru a prism (*noobs*See Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon Album Cover) compared to it being passed thru a round or square sphere. Interesting
