I used to own and run gyms (still own them but I am a digital nomad now!) and I had a sign on the entrance that said no gossip, no egos, no bullying, no negativity, etc. I’ve been punched in the face before telling someone they couldn’t be a gym member if they were mean to other gym members. Communities can be amazing but also tough. And very tough to lead if you’re trying to foster love, not fear. I’m sorry she’s been acting that way towards you and also sorry for the farm owners for having to deal with her 😅 It’s hard enough owning the farm, I’m sure.

I would suggest simply ignoring everything about these people. There is possibly a bare minimum of interaction you may have to abide by on a strictly practical level in order to acheive the practical level of functionality that must be acheived for people existing in the same physical space. Beyond that, there are more instances than not where simply turning your back on the problem, whatever it is, is the best option. That is actual surrender. Their opinion, actions, 'path', future, suffering behaviour is not your responsibility. You are not their therapist, friend, guide, anything. They may or may not find that at some point. For you, they are an obstical and source of confusion, misery and anxiety. Pay them no attention and it is very likely they will literally 'go away'.

Looking for advice and help on how to stop attracting toxic people into your life that can be a threat or cause real danger, had to unfortunately experience that while living as a digital nomad in the Philippines. I would love to go back there but probably have to face that group of guys that are really toxic, I am also a short guy so feels like they try to pick on easy targets, maybe sometimes in life it’s just go in there and fight… I don’t know….
