Aapka poora video dekha suna. Aap mein itni samajh thi ki aap ye jaan pao ki independent hona kitna important hai. Main Kayasth hun aur wo punjabi, usse business setup karna tha but he wouldnt put the effort it takes, though he always says he intends to. His mummy verbally abused me when she found out and he didn't even take a stand for us. Rather he said they will accept give them sometime. I do understand it was a major shock for her and hence the reaction but this was something extremely astonishing for me. He said I'll marry you only and do whatever it takes but he never turned his words into actions. When I encouraged him to work for his dream he would just say I'm trying. He would always say, "I too want to work" but somehow, he didn't put in the effort required. He wanted to set his own business up, like I mentioned, but would always find obvious excuses, like lack of funds (which is a genuine reason but when you cannot gather funds for the business you actually plan out what to do next in life if not what you always wanted to do and not try to find reasons to give on why you couldn't do it till now. I always stood by him and tried to be his strength but he would just not put in any effort). One day, later in the evening my male friend called me to inform about our exam, he made such a huge issue about it. He would still pick up fights on that scene. He makes huge issue about me wearing one piece (all of them being 2-3 in below knee because any less, I am not at all comfortable with it) and uses unacceptable words like "cheap girl behavior" When I tried to communicate how this was not right and totally unacceptable for me, he fought and told me why I need to grab people's attention (because obviously, wearing gowns and one pieces is an indication for girls asking for it, right?) Now, after immense chances given when I suffocated beyond tolerance, I saw this going nowhere and I decided to quit, he started blaming me for everything saying I was being immature and choosing easy way out and that it is totally unnecessary. Now, would you really say being firm on decision to marry my love would have been the right thing to do?
