Your video 👍 again. It is so rare (and not only on youtube!) that people speak so honest and realistic and at the same time so optimistic about their family life. Thank you for that 💚🍀

@@marielouise3187 Thanks for your comment! Our goal on KZbin is to encourage families to love and serve one another to the glory of God and enjoy the blessing of family. There are many trials, disappointments, and plain old hard days, but there is also rich blessing and joy through it all. God is gracious!

@@HerdingLittleCows yes, I understand you and what your goal is💚, but what I like so much in your video's, that you just dare to show your life WITH those ups+downs. There are more people who want to show or talk in their video's about Gods love and how that is the hart of their lives, but you both have the gift to talk about your lives in such a honest and absolute not over the top way. You have the gift to translate 'The Good News' in good life. I am maybe at another part of the protestant spectrum and live my life in the Netherlands in a different way, but I experience your video's as sparkles of Gods love for this world, wherever and who we are. 🌻🌻🌻

I am definitely not the perfect parent and I definitely did some things w my son I regret but I was convicted and changed my behavior. I am not his friend I am his parent but one day Lord willing we can have a different adult child parent relationship. I’m a very affectionate mother and I tell him often how loved he is and he is prayed over consistently. He is 12 now and tbh I never felt opposed to spanking but now I don’t feel it’s necessary. I/ we are consistent and we always follow through. I/we expect he show respect and be conscientious about others. I want him to grow up to be kind and I want him to understand bad things will happen and he will make mistakes but we will always love him and we will always be there. But most of all he knows he belongs to Jesus.

Consistency and pointing him to Jesus are great.
