@AmitRaj. Please clear my one doubt. Student once Accept and Freeze the IIT Jammu as choice for PG. then he will not get offer from any other IIT. After Choosing IIT Jammu, IIT Jammu will further take written test/ interview to shortlist the candidate. so the candidates that are not shortlisted ,will not get chances in any other iit as well?????????????????????????????????? PLEASE CLEAR MY DOUBT REGARDING THIS

It's a very good question. IIT Jammu or other IIT who plans to take separate tests except GATE, then they do it separately. First they will shortlist you and send you an email. After that you will appear in the exam and other tests, whatever they will conduct. After all this, final results will be declared on COAP, which is final. If you got an offer from COAP then you got the admission.

hello sir , how is the reserach culture in IIT jammu data science department ?can I get enough exposure to research in IIT jammu so that I can do my PhD in top universities in world ?

For research in data science there is high competition in IIT Jammu. If you perform well you can get good project guides. Apart from that you can approach faculties who have DS projects. Many faculties have DS projects with big findings. Rishikesh Nanaware MTech CSE IIT Jammu.

@@shankarjha4509 previous year IIT Jammu didn't go for spot round. All seats were filled till 8th round. Last score we have is 517 and rank around 2700.
