Toon, thank you for all of your contents.. When I'm not out and about your vids make me feel like I'm riding too or walking.😊 When my mother was living and I was watching TV in her room, she would be sleep or falling asleep, but , when she heard your voice and laughter, she would turn and laugh. She passed on now last January, she was 91 yrs old! Thank u for your humor🤗. Oh, and I know it cost money, but could you maybe one day go to Lancaster County PA? I would like to fund when I get straight. Again thank you!❤

The real badlands! Growing up Kensington was NOT the bad lands!
@TOON2152 күн бұрын
Thanks for leaving a comment. Well if you want to get technical...The real Badlands are located in southwestern South Dakota, in Badlands National Park: But as for philadelphia goes. Yes correct back in the 80s and early 90s this was where it all went down at. Fairhill. Glenwood and west kensington. Traditional kensington (north kensington closer to Allegheny was primarily Caucasian folks) thats right next to lower north east (frankford) ........east kensington & Same with old kensington. Aka south kensington. Which were further south of frankford. Closer to fishtown. But west kensington actually is side by side with fairhill. West kensington runs from front and Lehigh down to dauphin ...all the way west to 5th st. Where it then changes to fairhill. Squads like DSP (dauphin st possi) ran west kensington. And families like the browns. But if you are in west kensington and travel straight up hancock to Lehigh. Once you cross over and hit somerset you hit fairhill again. Then you got cambria. Indy, hope st. Waterloo. And all those ducky blocks. Today the badlands is widely typically defined as encompassing the area between Kensington Avenue to the east and Broad Street to the west, and between Hunting Park Avenue to the north and York Street to the south, mostly coinciding with the Fairfield, Glenwood, Hunting Park, Hartranft, Harrowgate, Kensington, North Central, Stanton, and West Kensington sections of Philadelphia, the nation's sixth-largest city as of 2020 The term "The Badlands" was popularized in part by the novel Third and Indiana by Steve Lopez, then a columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer.[1] The neighborhood also was featured in several episodes of ABC's Nightline. The intersection of 3rd Street and Indiana Avenue was listed number two in a 2007 list of the city's top ten drug corners according to an article by Philadelphia Weekly reporter Steve Volk The term "Badlands" was first used by Lt. John Gallo, who headed the East Division Narcotics Task Force[citation needed]. Its use spread, with many people attempting to take credit for the moniker. It was Gallo's work along with ASAC Billy Retton that worked about a dozen long-term investigations in the 25th and 26th Police Districts that preceded "Operation Sunrise". Ted Koppel, Geraldo Rivera, 20/20, and 48 Hours all rode with Gallo at one time or another, and it was during this time that Gallo was able to make the name stick. But he named it off the original badlands in south Dakota. 😉 Appreciate you stopping by .

Plz can you reply to my ❓ No I'm not being racist I'm just curious Why do Puerto Ricans like colorful paintings on buildings so much when we in America are used to having plain built bricks built by brick layers workers 🤔
@tSxO444 күн бұрын
You care whY & when women paint there nails 2? Whats the real point of this question You want to gain knowledge on Y some people wish to upkeep a building or even decide to paint so if u paint your daughters room pink cuz she likes Barbie or your sons blue cuz he loves the sky...Y come to Fl. in Miami every building is a different color so is every person U Asked a silly question in my opinion & the knowledge u wish 2 gain is pointless & btw i know people "white" that live in areas in apartments & houses with multi colored buildings & those folks wear different colored shirts too ..do you wear the same color shirt everyday? change your mindset worry about real issues & enjoy the ride

Liverpool has murals on buildings of Liverpool players. I don't think many Puerto Ricans live in Liverpool.

Some people like colors. Check out my Miami videos. Boca raton, little Haiti etc. Alot of colorful properties. Sometimes it's a cultural thing. Sometimes it's a personal preference thing. 💡
