Hi Masi, Dont you use stoploss/ takeprofit on your option contracts while scalping? Also can you please make a video for stoploss,take profit, scaling contracts(So important) and close position on IBKR as there is no content out there on youtube for simplified IBKR options usage.Everything seems so complex on there.

Hi Masi. Have you always been an option scalper ? Or did you try out other strategies first. I personally prefer to sell options using covered calls and cash secured puts. Cos I don't like the stress that comes with daytrading/scalping lol 😅

I’m new to interactive brokers. I followed the tutorial and it was very helpful. Quick question though when using the buttons to purchase contracts, my orders typically get filled very fast. But when I’m trying to sell and close position even at the bid price, I cannot get it to fill no matter what. Is there some sort of exchange routing I need to select? or is there some settings? I need to adjust to get my orders filled quicker when closing at the bid price. I’ve even tried to adjust it below the bid, and it still won’t fill. The only way I can get it to fill is by using a market order that just crushes my profit.

For example, do you use specific routing? Even when I fill at the ask, I’m getting filled at less, and then the bid is even lower…? It’s not making much sense. I’ve traded options for two years on Webull, and I’m feeling like I have a setting wrong or something. I should have real time data but it feels like the bid/ask is just off
