At 5:37, "Change %" refers to the % difference between the current share price vs the opening share price of the trading day. Hope this clarifies! 2. At 17:46, when placing a BUY for fractional shares, I would recommend you to input number of shares instead of USD, for example 0.30 or 0.50 or 0.70 shares. This way you will end up in round number shares when you choose to add more down the road, which looks better in the eyes + makes it easier for you to keep things in record should there be any stock split/reverse split. (Also, it will eliminate the "order size is 0" error when you trade on IBKR Mobile app)

Recently I bought 1 unit of CSPX and saw a fee of 4 USD charged for that trade!😱 After rewatching my video i realised my pricing was set at Fixed... I have just changed the setting to tiered - hopefully i will get less comms fee under the tiered setting!

Yes - that, and also note that LSE charges around 1.5GBP + regulatory fee so it would end up around 2+ to 3 USD haha! Hope this helps!

Hi Ziet, i want to know about the dividends. How do you get them? Let’s say Apple provide div yield, so if i go to the trade area and place a Buy trade of 10 shares, will i automatically start gaining dividends or there’s a different process to get dividends? And what if i place sell trade, there wouldn’t be any dividends right.

Hi David, no yeah, you need to hold AAPL shares by the Dividend Ex-Date only then you will be entitled the dividend payment. It will be sent to your account cash balance (USD) on Dividend Payment Date. Hope this clarifies!

Hi Sk, 1. Inheritance - You can hire a lawyer to contact IBKR support to setup a will, or you can educate your heir to withdraw on your behalf (though keep in mind US estate tax may be applicable for assets > USD 60k) 2. You will require longer trading experience and net liquid value of your account. Easiest way to go around this is raising a support ticket, IBKR customer service will help you with that!
