♥️ I love your little albums/folios/flip-books. You have taught me so much. Someone showed me that when you tear paper, one side turns more layered/textured than the other side. Since you’re left handed, if you turn the page so that when you tear the side you want to use is in your RIGHT hand, and then you use your left hand to tear up toward yourself, the more layered edge will be where you want it.

Really cute project, Michelle. That's how I started out. Inking all my edges, next was tearing paper. The junk journal world is just so much fun. It's more like playing and having fun trying new things. It teaches you to let go. Hope your little guy has a great birthday today.🎉 TFS❤

Love it! Tip for you: if you take a small hammer you can pound down the back of that staple and have a flat surface to glue to your page.

I love this! I don’t typically do a lot of distressing with the scissors but once in awhile if I want a whole project to look old I will do it. It’s just one of many techniques we use for aging. I usually ink it after doing that as well. 💕💕💕

If you want to really take some chunks out of your paper you can even use an old metal vegetable peeler. Lol. I’ve used that before & it’s fun. Love this! Off to create on my long holiday weekend 😊
