The mitral valve (also known as the bicuspid valve) is located between the left atrium and the left ventricle. The aortic valve is one of the semilunar valves and is located between the left ventricle and the aorta. So, while the aortic valve is a type of semilunar valve, the mitral valve is different. Very useful video thank you and I have a question How does increased heart rate increase blood pressure? Is it because the heart pumps blood again before the vein relaxes completely, creating tension in the vein?

That's essentially correct except for the place that it has the effect is in the arteries, not as much the veins. The heart pumps the blood into the arteries, by the time they get to the veins on the way back to the heart, the pressure is significantly lower. But yes - increasing heart rate pumps more blood into the arteries more frequently increasing the pressure in the arteries.

Please I don't get it when you say the atria contract to send the last bit of blood into the ventricles. Does it mean some of the blood is pushed out into the ventricles before the atria contract

i think yes, atleast 70 percent of the blood goes to ventricle even before the contraction due to gravity and also the pressure in Atrial is greater than Ventricle even before the depolarization, the Atrial valve is meanth to open in the way anyways, not sure tho
