I think it would be helpful if you did a lesson on handy phrases to use for communication triage. That's when you are absorbed in an interesting back and forth texting conversation, when your phone rings, and you notice a incoming email you missed from your team leader asking about the status of a project. But just as you are considering how and whom to respond to first, someone you have been wanting to see for months walks up to you. Nowadays there are so many different means of communication that it is possible to be bombarded all at once with multiple interruptions. What phrases can we use to convey concern, acknowledgement, or a sense of urgency without hurting people's feelings or inciting anger while putting them into some sort of sequence or order? I suppose the idiom, "Take a number" is not one of them. Lol. Thank you for the idiom omnibus, Interactive English!

7:12. the apple of someone's eye: the person who is loved the most by someone. Would you mind if I ask you a question? If your daughter Emmy princess were twins, would the idiom become the apples of Wes's each eye? We have a idiom "not to feel pain even if put it into eye" (adorable/lovely) in our indigenous way of expression.
