This video deserves more views! Thanks for the video and looks like an awesome saddle. My brooks just broke in - a year later.....

I am with ya. I just got one of the Selle Anatomica saddles to ride and all I can say is WOW. Love it.

Got mine in the spring of this year and I have put a full season of ridding (almost 3,000 miles-road bike miles). I am 6'2" and when I started my weight reduction process :( ......I was 230lbs ......I'm now at 185lbs :) make sure you pay attention to the weight limits for the saddle you buy....I bought an "H" series and I haven't had any problems with bent rails or anything else for that matter....I had a Brooks B-17 (sold the bike-road bike that had probability 2,000 miles ridden on it)....it was ok then I bought a Brooks Imperial... put it on my hybrid (was honestly about the same as a B-17)....the Selle Anatomica is by far better, especially if your a heavier rider.....Don't get me wrong Brooks is my #2 pick and I love the classic but get one of these...

Sounds like an improvement on a proven design. When my Brooks wears out, gets stolen, or I get another bike, might give it a try.

Are these saddles more comfortable than padded ones? Not too concerned about weight, more so with comfort.
@cyclingstrong10 жыл бұрын
Yes it is a very comfortable saddle

I don't give a shit how comfortable this seat is. I don't care if it gives you a hand Job as you ride, there ain't no way it's worth $400. Stop charging 5,000 percent markup, just because you have a good design.

These seem a similar copy to SMP's.

Selle Anatomicas are crap, I've heard they sag rather quickly, the leather is just not the same as a Brooks. Selle Anatomica were even turfing these pieces of **** off for extremely cheap prices recently.

+Alex Paulsen So, you know they're crap because you own one or you're regurgitating something you heard?
@Metal-Possum9 жыл бұрын
P.G. Reitsma Feedback from people who ride often is rather consistent...

+Alex Paulsen Then maybe your statement should be...some people feel that they're crap, but this is not from my own personal experience. I guess you're one of those guys who accepts another's viewpoint without thinking.
@Metal-Possum9 жыл бұрын
P.G. Reitsma Take a look at some photos of a used Selle Anatomica. If you result in having the leather supported by your seatpost within just a year or two, then clearly they are inferior compared to a more well known leather saddle manufacturer.

+Alex Paulsen Or, do a little research before you buy one and understand that you purchase the model based on your weight. I bought both mine in 2012 and neither have sagging problems. You understand that they have a tensioning adjuster don't you? Enjoy your work at Brooks do you? Thanks for being impartial
