Covenant is obedience to YAH's commands. As prescribed in Torah. When we began keeping His Sabbath as set apart (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), keeping His feast days prescribed in Lev 23, not celebrating pagan holidays (xMess, Ishtar), etc, we stepped into true obedience.
