It's inspiring to follow you through the various challenges that arise along the way. I look forward to following you further with films on KZbin and updates on Instagram from Greenland. Safe sailing ahead

To me as a Canadian it sounded pretty normal. People here just want to be friendly and kind especially to foreign visitors to our country. We want to try to make them feel welcome. Here it’s not uncommon to smile and say hi to strangers, even with people you’re passing on the street. My understanding is it’s basically the exact opposite of Finland, where they think small talk is a disrespectful waste of everyone’s time. I was learning basic Finnish at one point to go visit as a tourist and ended up going somewhere else because the more I learned about their culture, the more it seemed like an unfriendly country 😂. I could be wrong though.
