I have Pisces in the first house intercepted across from Virgo in the 7th house. in Virgo I have Venus retrograde Mercury and the sun in the 7th house intercepted no planets in my first house Pisces. But my ascendant sign is Aquarius sun is in Leo. So I'm all messed up here 😭. The good thing is that I figured this out in this lifetime hopefully I can change or unlock my Venus which is retrograde. Because I have no friends no body talks to me anymore it's just horrible. I am practicing self-love so that is a start.

I feel you.( Also, 1st/7th Axis, Capricorn/Cancer, 3 planets intercepted in the first (does it mean I have no personality...? O_O'), 7th is empty and booby-trapped by a retrograde Chiron that somehow manages to aspect everything else in my chart save 2 intercepted planets and Jupiter. Retrograde Mars is dancing jig off to the side, so destructive blow ups or defanged, thats 'fun' (debates are okay though :)) and in cases of a very blocked first house - VERY. The rest are bundled off to the side, giving opposing messages, to life, love and purpose of everything. 99% You've already found out for yourself, but people's planets (not just suns) in Virgo might temporarily 'rescue' yours. And, hey! At least your Sun dodged a bullet there, being in Leo. Would be too ironic otherwise. o_O All the warmest vibes to you! Bye.

I must say that I learned a lot of astrology over the years and never got to understand the precise effect of having my first house with intercepted Aries and therefore also Libra intercepted in the 7th house. In the past I searched everywhere for information regarding this and only with your video I got the idea. I must confess that the fact is that I am 27 years old by now and that I never even kissed a girl and I still don't believe it will be even possible in the future even though I appear to be a pretty normal person. What happens in reality is that when I meet a girl that interests me I always end up being the only one who starts a conversation to try to connect and as I see no effort on the other side to connect with me I always end up giving up. I don't even have any planet in these two houses so their weight on my life is very low. Thank you for sharing this insight as I have been waiting very long for a lesson specifically about intercepted signs (I didn't even know they were called like that).

Very informative. Thank you. I’ve had astrologers tell me I have intercepted houses, but never explain the impact that might have or what they were. I have the Pisces intercepted in the second house and matters related to that house have been a struggle. In the 8th house I have Virgo intercepted. You’re a great teacher. This is excellent information. I have an interception on the 1/7 axis. My Part of Fortune in Aquarius in the 1st along with my Venus AND vertex in Leo in the 7th. I have always had issues with how I express myself and my love style toward others. Now that I am consciously aware of this, I am working toward unlocking these core parts of my personality and finally attracting the true love of my life!

I m an aquarius ascendent My moon is in aries in third house which has no number written (intercepted ) , so moon belongs to 2nd house or third or 4th ?? And right after that I have 3& 4 written on taurus house with Venus in it . Pls tell moon belongs to which house and Venus is in 3rd or 4th house ? Similarly libra and scorpio houses are a big confusion because there is 9 &10 written in scorpio house and there is no number on libra house (intercepted) planets present in libra belong to which house ??

This was illuminating, thank you. I have Sun & Jupiter conjunct, plus Moon locked in Leo in the 2nd house. All my life so far I have had no control of personal income no matter how hard I try (& I've tried for YEARS). I've learned that I simply have to patiently wait for whatever I'm given. It could be to do with Saturn trine this configuration conjunct midheaven, retrograde at critical 12° of Aries 😕. Also, with Sun locked in Leo, I am told I do not represent everyone's idea of what a Leo is (I'm reserved, quiet, humble, in the background etc). You mention about being older should provide opportunities to unlock things. I'd like to know about that unlocking process.

(Jaw drop) OMG... lol It was my intercepted houses that gave me fits trying to interpret my chart using Placidus and why I switched away from it, only on occasion to refer back to that chart. While I knew what an interception was, I had much trouble with interpretation. Additionally Placidus was the only system to put my Saturn in the 9th. All others had 8th. I might revisit that. Looking at Placidus now, deciding to work with Saturn was a good choice either way. And I see a potential explanations for questions I have had. :) This is amazing. Always something new to learn. Oh, intercepts, Neptune in Scorpio in 5th, kind of explains why I gave up drawing at an early age and my former marriage produced no children. And Mercury and Venus conjunct in Taurus in 11th. Hm. While I'm comfortable in groups, if given a choice...:) Lastly, with Mercury it impacts my Gem Sun and the three planets I have in Virgo. rolleyes...LOL First step in resolution is to acknowledge the "problem" which is actually an opportunity. Thank you! wow....:)

Thanks Marina. I often use Placidus myself and often it makes enough sense, but sometimes...It just makes more sense to go Equal or Whole Signs Houses. What are your thoughts on whole countries and seasons that produce these interceptions? I'm genuinely curious...as it's quite a quandary for me. Though I will say that I've found people who have natal interceptions themselves that when acknowledged by myself feel relieved that someone gets it and them.

Very interesting video Marina! For learning purposes I have to say I don't relate with what you said. I myself have 1st and 7th houses intercepted. With moon in 1st house in aqua and venus in 7th house in leo, both intercepted. My aquarius moon is probably the most noticeble personality trait I have. Ever since I was a child, I have always been different than everybody, very against the status quo and old traditions, and also I always had a very strong relationship with my mother. So it has always been quite easy and natural for me to express both the moon and the aquarius energy. The same goes for my venus in leo. From the way I dress to how I behave in relationships, I am quite leo... So I don't know if I'm the exception to the rule, but I almost forget I have intercepted houses. I honestly have no problem with them. The only thing is that when I see transit videos, I always have to see the next ascendant sign, because the houses don't match :)

Thank you for sharing, Nicole! Is your chart rectified? It's possible that your time of birth might be a little different and the planets may not be intercepted. Also, with the interceptions - you will always fell the energy of your Venus in Leo, but the question is how easy you can materialize things in relationships. It's also possible that you migth be very lucky and handle with that very well :)

I would say that it's important. It might be more difficult for you to understand in which dorection you should move (my nodes are intercepted as well :) )

great video Marina! Thank You again! I would like to share something: my boyfriend asc-desc axis is in the same signs as my birth chart interception. Then, my asc-desc signs are his intercepted signs axis in his birth chart. Does this have any impact or meaning? or it is just a coincidence? and one question more: if the house cusp is in one sign, but the next sign starts somewhere in the house (so the house ends in this second sign - no interception), does the house have 2 rulers, like in the example with interception or not?

I have 3° Pisces Sun and 12° Pisces Mars intercepted in the 1H and I identified when you said that I've always felt stuck or that my life doesn't depend on my choices because there are always other circumstances getting in the way. I'll look further into intercepted houses because my sun is also conjunct my 27° Aqua Ascendant. Aqua Mercury and Venus are also there at 22° and 23°, respectively but I don't know if they would be considered a conjunct my Sun.

Intercepted houses are 6 and 12, containing many planets. My health is terrible. Eris, Sun and Mercury in intercepted Pisces, the 6th. Neptune in intercepted Virgo, the 12th.

My Sun still Shines all over my chart ❤🌞❤ Yes 2 marriages But - when I say I'm done, I'm 2001 to present Single ... It's way easier! It took a long time to develop self-love and I'm still applying Conscious Thought on the subject. If you ever have questions or need "a unique study chart" (I had a Solar E direct on Ketu followed by Pluto Transiting my Sagittarius and tragic situations plus...Rahu Dasha!!!) But I'm still here and am trying 😉

You can only have two interceptions, which means two intercepted houses, because if a certain house is intercepted, that means that the opposite house will be intercepted as well. BUT your intercepted houses could be really big, which means that they could have 60 degrees each... And a "normal" chart has houses that are around 30 degrees big So my point is that you can only have two intercepted houses (and then ofc two intercepted signs and also duplicated signs), but the intercepted houses can be quite big...

I have an intercepted 0°Taurus Moon in the 11th house. It squares my Mercury in Aquarius in the 8th. Not sure if I WANT to access it's energies. Instability of the moon messing with my mind ? I cling to the fact my Saturn in Libra is tightly trined that Mercury. I'm always 2nd guessing myself and wondering if I'm really fully understanding things. It's stupid, cause it creates an instant mental block where there shouldn't be any.
