At what trim angle do you run your motor at? Great video by the way
@joeokada3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Luke, it really varies depending on how much bow lift the conditions allow for.

Hi, Joe would the 300mm size work well on a Lund Fisherman 2075. It's about the same weight as your boat. Not sure whether to go with the 17 1/2-inch or the 11 3/4 size. Do you think the 300mm will be fine? My Merc 9.9 and trolling batteries on the port side are causing an annoying list. Cheers

The 300’s would be fine for a similar sized boat👍 I tried a set of the 450’s just to see once and they were way more than the boat needed.

Thanks, Joe greatly appreciated. I think I will go with the 300's. Yep, I was thinking the same the 450.s would be overkill. Tight Lines. @@joeokada

joe.just watched the video on a net release.can you the more about the magnets you used.make and model.thanks
@joeokada3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave, I don’t remember who made them but any small pair from Amazon should work. You might have to adhere the magnet to something that allows it to be attached to the bag and net with a zip tie or something but that should be pretty easy. Sorry I wasn’t much help!

Are you using the zip wake in conjunction with trimming your motor
@joeokada4 ай бұрын
Absolutely. You can trim up to lift the hull but tab enough to stay level coming off waves👍

Hi Joe, at what speed zipwake is efficient?
@joeokada2 жыл бұрын
On my boat it best between 20 to mid 50’s

Joe who installed these ?
@joeokada2 жыл бұрын
Those were done at the yar-craft factory. I did my first couple sets by myself it was very straight forward. Takes about 2-3 hours on this particular boat.

Some smart person should put an eye like a self driving car, where it reads the water and speed and trims your boat automatically....
