I'm on BC21 and although it is ticked to accept transactions in COMPANY HQ the purchase order transaction is still in the intercompany inbox and I have to accept it manually. I have to change the 'line action' from 'No action' to 'Accept'

Hi..you need to enable the Automatically accept IC general journal transactions in feature management...this has been covered in our latest video..

do you have creaed a separate customer posting group or vendor posting for the customers and vendors because it does not work for me with the exact same settings as yours

Yes, you need to create separate posting groups for the IC Partners..
