Interconnection of Sensors of In-place Inclinometer Assembly | Encardio-rire

A series of access/connecting tubes, attached to each other, are installed in a borehole or embedded in earth/rockfill or concrete structure during construction or fixed to the vertical face of a completed structure. Encardio-rite model EAN-51M/52M vertical In-place inclinometer system (IPI) consists of a string of inclination sensors. This string of sensors is positioned inside the inclinometer casing to span the movement zone. Each in-place inclination sensor is fitted with a pair of pivoted sprung wheels. It also provides the pattern of deformation, zones of potential danger and effectiveness of construction control measures undertaken.

In this video, we have shown the connection of In-place Inclinometer (IPI) sensors to form a string of chain. The complete In-place Inclinometer (IPI) assembly will be connected with Encardio-rite model ESDL-30 for collecting/displaying quantitative data or magnitude of inclination or tilt of a foundation, embankment or slope and its variation with time.
