InterContinental Phuket, Thailand - 5 Star Hotel - Kamala Beach - Complete Review!

I stayed at the InterContinental resort in Phuket Thailand for 4 nights. I'll show you around this spectacular property. I'll also show you two different complete room reviews, a partial ocean view room and a mountain view room. Plus the spectacular breakfast buffet at this IHG. It was amazing!

Thanks, nice real world review with a hilarious ending. Was club music from the Cafe del Mar beach club nearby an issue also? Also an IHG platinum elite and after watching your review I may request for any upgrade to be at the Mountain side instead.

Hi, and welcome to the channel! I think that it was both as the IHG music wound down at night. The club next door was banging.. I guess I've learned through my travels to always bring quality earplugs.. They came in handy that night :( Deff Mountain side. It is still a great view, as you can see from my video. Great review, the place looks wonderful, but all that rain and the high temps must be like Florida in summer, humid🥵 I had to laugh about the upgrade and the music, in fact I thought your first view of that temple spa was way better. But all in all you weren't really roughing it 😉

No roughing it st all lol I was just trying to sleep for a 4 am wake up :( All of Thailand was sooo humid and hot, probably worse than FL. I had a tough time in the afternoons so much I basically stayed indoors :(

@@MilesMiser awww no sleep and a 4am flight are the worst combination 😵‍💫. Yeah I suspected it to be 95-100% humid and their average temperature is also around 80-90. It takes time to adjust to it, usually after 3-4 days you're fine.

So far 10 days and my Norwegian blood still can't hack it lol. No adjustment yet.

@@MilesMiser Ohh 😂 Viking blood probably takes a lot longer to get adjusted. I guess not many 100+ degrees days there. But the aurora borealis makes up for that 😍

Well I'm 2 gens removed but my cousins still live there. I'm feom a cold northern state though and idk if it's me getting old or what but too cold or too hot is rough for me lol

Hi, and welcome to the channel! I liked the mountain view room vrs the ocean view. Why? Because of the loud music from the pool and then later from the club next door. I'm not old, but I couldn't sleep because of it and had to get up to catch a flight early soo.. As far as space, they are both about equal. Ocean view was nice, but so was the mountain view. Hi there and thanks for commenting. In the first hotel room near the Pools and facing the Spa that looks like a temple we could hear the person in the room next to us. They made a lot of noise. But when we moved to the beach facing room we didn't hear a lot as far as people. But they had a concert outside at night and it was loud. I wore earplugs, but perhaps that's just me being a light sleeper?
