sir in the last question while computing interest under floating leg , we compute interest on each day at cum amt (P+Int of prev. day ) , however computing interest for sat. & sun together will ignore calculation of interest on interest portion in notional balance which we are calculating the same for each day....isn't it unfair ? so for sat if notional bal.-100087618 & interest 21882 then for sun it should be notinal bal.-100109500 (100087618+21882) & interest thereon will be 21886 if interest is charged on sunday irrespective of it being holiday then why not cascading effect on interest be considered..

Sir in first problem how swap deal will effected, Because without swap 13+(M+1.5)=M+14.5 with swap (M+1.9)+14=M+15.9 total loss = -1.4 how swap deal affected as interst rate after swap gutting more?? Please clarify Sir.

Hi sir. I love the way of ur teaching. I have a small doubt sir,In question no 107 . Revised interest rate(RIR) is greater than existing interest rate(EIR) we called it as gain.. However in question no 110.strong and weak Ltd case.. RIR is greater than EIR but then we called it as loss.i.e., swap is not advisable why is like that sir. Please clarify it sir. Thanking u sir

bro both are totally different questions, in this questions they are yet to go to the bank for borrow. so they just simply calculate rates with swap and without swap , and found without swap rate is cheaper than swap rate. so better off to not to take swap deal, as it could result in higher interest rate.
