An afternoon real time drive from the Guaracara River thru Marabella and Vistabella to San Fernando. See an original electricity pole from the 1900s when San Fernando first had electricity. See some bacchanal at the end with taxi drivers on High Street in Sando!

Thanks a million for bringing back all those memories of my youth. 1963, my first year of high school and High St was bustling, I guess all the malls have taken away the usual hustle and bustle. Still beautiful as ever.

I remember San Fernando having a cinema on Prince of Wales Street, one opposite the Carnegie library, one at upper mucurapo street, Keate street and penitence street. I think only two are currently operating.

I loveeeeee this channel. Thank youuuuuuu finally an update on the project. I am sooooo happy to see the project is ongoing, i was worried it was another talk those politicians hit us but things are actually happening!!! That Lady Hailes By the Sea project is moving at snails pace tho lol but at least its happening amd I see those squatters insist they aren't moving, really keeping back completion of that road... smh! They need to move. They were offered relocation, what is their problem. Please update us often! No one on youtube does it. I am from Sangre Grande. I'm also glued to the progression of the Sangre Grande Highway and there is a shopping mall complex / gas station being constructed in Guaico here... excited for that but construction is slowww and little info and updates are given for that too! I live for these. Thank youu ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hello there and am very happy you love our channel! Yes, had you in mind when I did this video. Construction Projects always seem slow unfortunately. I would not comment on the political side of it though - just bringing the videos as it is/was at a certain time🧭 - this is why all my videos are timestamped🕰. Great video as always, However I did notice lot of places for rent, and some of the old business land Mark's are not there anymore,San Fernando will never die,it just reinvents itself, It sure has lots of huge buildings from Marbella on to San Fernando, the economy seems to be doing great, I surely missed it. Keep on bringing the videos. Also please showcase other towns and cities. 😢😢😢

Hello and thanks for the visit and your viewpoint! I'm not sure when those buildings were built and I certainly won't judge an economy from that alone. That being said, the purpose of the video was just to show how the place was as per the video timestamp. Subsequent videos will show the change if any along the same route.

It would also be nice to hear steelband music lightly in the background after all Trinidad and Tobago is the land of steelband , Kaiso,Calypso and limbo, The video should reflect that.My two cents worth.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
