If you use coroplast instead of regular cardboard, you can cut the mold as a single piece and not cut all the way through to use the inner skin as a durable hinge, and reuse the molds, as they are waterproof.

Next time, cut out the whole flat shape and fold it to shape rather than individual sides. Faster, less joins, better final shape. :)

From what I see, all the triangles are isosceles, with the sides the same size as the ones of the squares. I would personally change it up quite a bit to make the design less wasteful of cement and to reduce the need for sanding. I would make a smaller ensemble of the same shape for the inside maintained in place by a cylinder placed at the bottom (which would later be a much needed evacuation hole keeping plants from dying), avoid using painter's tape to connect the sections, preferring some good old duct tape, cover each of the pieces with regular tape/duct tape to reduce adhesion. Using some mold release might also help, but I think this would mainly be useful if you intend on reusing your mold several times (which I would encourage, as I believe this cardboard becomes unrecyclable after absorbing foreign materials).
