Nice to see Anigozanthus (kangaroo paw) "Phar Lap" in bloom! I got one earlier this year...but hasn't bloomed yet...I have a large collection of paws. Check out the Celebration series for unusual colors..." Masquerade" is a blue! If you want to see lots of Gunnera, come to the San Francisco Botanical Gardens! Thanks for the tour...will visit soon...always find something I need at Cottage Gardens. Then I visit Emerisa in Santa Rosa and Peacock Nursery for really unusual plants.

I love seeing unusual plants, it's great to hear about them. After all, a petunia, is a petunia, is a petunia. 😃 I do wonder if the "foreign" plants are invasive or could end up being invasive in the US. Always something. Great video, what a wonderful place to walk around in.

The toothache plant is a perennial for me in Chico. I was surprised for it to come back for a third year. I thought the medicinal properties were in the flower though not the leaf. oops lol. I have friends that pick the flowers and then make a fancy cocktail that makes your tongue buzz. Idk, look it up, I guess.

I planted some wisteria hoping for a beautiful smell some day, well it bloomed and it stinks. While the blooms are beautiful I just may have to pull it out while I can. I’m trying to grow a fragrance garden in my zone 6 area and there are not a lot of fragrant plants available to me so I was SO excited that the wisteria bloomed at such a young age only to find out that SOME wisteria smell bad. 🙁I’ll have to continue my search for a sweet smelling one. 💐💚🙃
