Under armor from 2013 to mid 2016 in terms of football boots were actually amazing. Incredibly underrated yet original and innovative. However they are their own worst enemy when they make some incredibly stupid changes for the sake of change. The Blur Carbon 3 is honestly just that good. Be it the synthetic or leather upper variation it was one of the few boots that were so well made,incredibly tech heavy and so underrated. Then you had other boots like Clutchfit Force line which all 3 generations were fire,the fit,comfort and even durability was insane. Lastly the Speedform CRM was another underrated gem and the feeling it had is unique. The ceiling they have on making a good product is high and the potential is always there but consistency in making great football boots is one area they need right now. It’s an area New Balance has nailed it right now

Great review - this was my exact reaction when I tried them on months ago for the first time. I didn't end up playing, so I didn't get them, but straight up thought they were the most comfortable boot I'd ever put on in my life. The material feels amazing, it's like a buttery soft leather. Lockdown and use over time would be interesting but watching this, it makes me want to go and buy them just to have for kick arounds.

The only draw back this model is the chrome plate at the bottom will wear out after a few wears, but boy its a great buy! no break in needed!

Found an attractive discount for these boots in the colorway I like. Still hesitant to pull the trigger without your 1 month review, though. The heel area of the 2.0 version of these boots concerns me, as does the durability of both the upper and the soleplate (seen an example of these boots with the soleplate snapped in half after only a few games -- rare factory defect, or a consequence of the aggressive bend at the forefoot?).

@@NoahCavanaugh I love these boots though. So I ended up trying and getting the premier model (first takedown) of these. Similar upper (minus the dots), basically the same sole plate, but a more traditional and constructed heel area. Under Armour are a brand everyone needs to try.

I have the premier version. I also felt the slippage and scratching on my ankle. Another issue is the material, I already noticed material peeling off after just one practice. I don't predict it will last very long at this moment. The only good thing about the boots is the fitting. They are true to size and cover the feet pretty well.

Lol, you have plenty of options for more aggressive plates from companies like Puma, Nike, Adidas, and New Balance, which are like the bulk of the football boots out there anyway... It's good to have options for FG boots that are less aggressive for those who want it, play frequently on both FG and AG and only want to purchase 1 pair of boots, or need it due to weaker joints from injury.

Poor manufacturing quality :( I ordered them and the sole plate cracked pretty soon. And I saw a similar comment on their reviews as well. I hope they improve the quality in future ones.
