stumps for 9mm/bees/feathers/baby chicks and Honey HD Armor preReq quest completion for some truly AWESOME armor Most importantly check dumpsters/lockers for rucksack mods for +15 backpack slots I find that ranged is the way to go as soon as possible, as the mobs can be overpowering and the rads cause double vision when close. This mod has some truly awesome looking guns to craft. My favorite is the HD HK33 Hybrid in .45. Has low recoil and large ammo capacity and looks tacticool.

To use blocks to help narrow down your digging for quests-Put a block in each cardinal Direction. They won't be perfect. That's fine. When you dig, and the circle shrinks down, it will move away from one, or more of the blocks you placed down. Whatever block it moves away from, you want to avoid digging towards, or around. This is by no means perfect-The circle can be a silly lil goose sometimes. But generally speaking, it can save you between 10-20 blocks worth of digging each time. Edit: You don't need to move the blocks.

Daph, if you're going for knife do the hd knife quest. If you get 20 paper (i think) and look at recipes you can make a hd knife and hd armour quest. Hd knife quest gives you a beefy machete!

@@NotAGamerGaming you craft it in your inventory from paper, if you get paper and look at recipes then it should show up a knife/blade quest as one of the options. you can do the armour one but just get level one lumberjack from memory, the knife is high level

You two are great doing your own thing, but even better together. As an aside, apologies to anyone I might offend, but I don't quite see the point of marking the yellow circle before digging on supplies quests. I always need clay so i just dig a 2x10 trench at the surface, then dig one of those trenches one block deeper. This triggers the circle three times and gives you a very good idea of where the box is. It also lets you jump out in any direction if meanies appear. I fail to understand how marking the movement of the circle helps in any meaningful way.

I use a square not a triangle and put the blocks on the 4 points of the compass.

I'm sure that Gen knows this, but the heat threshold for the chance to call in screamers is 25. Pistols and SMGs raise it by +.65 per shot, so that's one chance for a screamer every 39 shots. Shotguns are the worst at +1 per shot, although oddly enough the sawed-off shotgun is the lowest at +.3 🤷‍♂If your workstations are already causing 20 then 8 pistol shots can call one in. When your heat reaches 25 the game rolls for screamers then resets the heat to zero whether there are screamers or not.

I just started my playthrough. Imagine my surprise when i rolled up on the grain silo from behing (nyuk, nyuk) and realized i picked the same pregen map you guys did. So, naturally i made my base there as well... and just now realizing i never went up top and grabbed the end loot! 😅 It's been pretty hectic, since I'm rolling solo. Didn't even have time to do the asshole's starter diggy quest! I feel your pain.

@NotAGamerGaming i was surprised to find that big chest at Rekt's, since you cut it out of the day 1 vid. Nice surprise there! Very annoyed there wasn't one at 2nd Rekt's. Understandable, since it'd be kind of OP, but still... not nearly as good as 2nd breakfast. It is nice to grab 2 quests, although I am struggling to haul loot around. Still no bo mod, just a single triple pocket mod. However, I DID get 2 ammo crate flares, and one crate had an M60, so that was pretty sweet.

you need the blade war3zuk quest for hd machete tier 6 you can craft the quest also when you get bikes from trader have him craft hd Tubo mod for the bikes speeds them up as fast as motorcycles

nope cant scoop water need to get snow balls from ice machines at passing gas stores they give you several thousand snow balls when you loot them and more when you break them down. when you finish the skill progression quests you get a personal vending machine for that class. Daphney instead of digging down just clear the top layer until your circle closes into the middle. also Genosis clicking E doesnt count towards crop collection quest you need to use your knife or axe. in the menu settings you can actually turn of profanities so rext wont swear.

Slight spoiler perhaps? The zeds can get pretty large/tall so if you're gonna play into the mid/late game; know that any horde base designs, should accommodate the big boiz.
