Yes, blanket washing. Just a tip maybe what used to work well is that I used to buy rain boots. Power stores (clothing store) has black rain boots , I think they are R120. I wore the boots when I stamped in the blankets. That way my feet were never cold and I felt that the hardness of the boots really helped to clean the blankets

Auai Abby, I hope you are safe in the mornings. I used to take a train from Mabopane to Johannesburg Park Station for 10 years going to work, I used to wait for a local taxi at 02:50 in the morning and to the train station for it to leave at 03:30. But I saw God gracious I always safe and my mom would be there at times to see me off.

We got no one but God to protect us. Last month a lady was stabbed on her face few steps from where I wait for a taxi, I heard she was on her way to her fat cake selling station and they even took her dough, just a short prayer before I leave my house is a must

It's really cold 🥶, but Joburg is worse. I still remember my first winter in Limpopo I was walking around with short sleeves and my mother in law was so worried that I will get sick😅
