here are 10 small tips to any US citizen that wants to visit Australia. 1. leave your attitude along with your guns at the departure lounge. 2. don't panic! it will be there waiting for you when you get back, we don't want it. 3. you cannot buy a gun here as easily as you can in the US, nor carry a gun over here, this is not the wild west as it is in the USA. 4. enjoy the sites the food and the different cultures. 5. Australia has a culture, they have song, dance and food and we are proud of it. 6. The US has, Levi's jeans, McDonalds, mass shootings, guns and bombs and you are proud of it? 7. take lots of photos, buy the occasional souvenir. 8. when you get back to the US "the home of the brave and the free," pick up your gun and your attitude, you will notice it is still there intact as you left it. 9. Show your friends the photos and tell them you had a nice time. 10. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends you experienced real freedom for the first time in your life not having to carry a gun!

Really, are you offering to work longer hours for less money?
@stuartgraham93295 күн бұрын
@ there something in Australia called penalty rates. You work Sunday or public holidays you get paid a higher hourly rate. So it’s actually working more for more+. Ask any uni student
@stuartgraham93295 күн бұрын
@ the rates are Normal shift 100% Outside normal hours and Saturday 125% Sunday 7am to 7pm 150% Sunday 7pm to 7am 175% Public holidays 250% That why the supermarkets don’t open till 11am Sunday mornings which means you can’t buy a loaf of bread till lunchtime which means we need more flexibility in our trading hours.

Oh no, I cannot go out and shop at 1am in the morning cause I cannot plan ahead, really? Life Work Balance, not a concept that is encouraged in the US, make money and spend it seems to be the norm. US has the worst working conditions they abolished slavery, but when you see how badly they are treated, no parental leave, fired in some states without a reason given, forced to work outside the hours they are paid and the healthcare system they have in place, well says it all really.

I was born in Australia and went to school there ( Sydney) but 35 years ago at 18 I came to the United States 🇺🇸 permanently & have zero regrets - Australia today is a place I’m unfamiliar with sadly

A top five destination survey I saw by Americans rated London Spain Switzerland France and funny enough New Zealand (thanks to the Lord of the Rings) amongst the cool destinations in this world. The average Australian knows infinitely more about the United States and then the average American knows about Australia. Despite that Australians love travelling to the United States And seem to have a affinity to the cultural lifestyle.

Country towns like guests and new people. I think an issue is the housing as there is no new housing. But they need to get to know people and not caus problems

Who cares what other countries say they think of us on camera. Most probably have no odea about us and are just being polite. For some reason Aussies believe the entire world is obsessed with us and loves us. To be honest we are actually seen as rude and arrogant.
