Hello, thanks for the great video, I have 3 questions, if one passed steps 1 and 2 of USMLE does that bring any advantage? and do they have to sit for EMREE? Second question, if one has a UAE golden residency does that give an advantage in matching for residency in a particular filed (psychiatry as an example)? Third question, is the EMREE a clinical exam similar to Step 2 USMLE?

Hello, if you take this exam in the final year of university and you pass it, but you want to take it again after you finish for a better grade, it’s possible? I understand from the video you can’t take it 2 times if u pass, but maybe it’s an exception for medical students.

However, pls check the entry requirements of the residency program for HAAD, DHA and MOHAP, who set their own entry requirements which is next step after passing the exam. Thanks for your comment. Only Emirati nationals and UAE graduates are exempted from this experience requirement. If IMGs, you will be required to fulfill a two-year experience requirement AFTER internship in order to be able to apply for a GP license in the UAE.
