In the spatial coherence section, why do we not see the pattern anymore after a certain separation of the slits? And how is that distance related to the expression for the coherence area given by the van Cittert-Zernike theorem?

@ 8:09 I don't like the very first formula here. Why indicate a difference in frequency with a delta, and why isn't there a delta when you're dealing with a difference in time? Coherence-time really is a period of time, not a moment in time!

7:08 You start with a light source emitting photons yet you end up with no signal at the end. This experiment violates the law of conservation of energy. Amazing.

Note that the light is split at a beam splitter. If it interferes destructively at the detector, then it will interfere constructively back to the light source. Therefore the energy is conserved.
