At last, a complete detailing using all of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions products showcasing how they all work together. I like the products. They work for me as a weekend wash warrior and I don't have to use a collection of different manufacturers oft times unnecessary products like a separate lubricator when using my clay mitt or variations in a line of products that do virtually the same thing. This video is much appreciated and extremely helpful.

Awesome results as always, Phil! Quick question: if you were going to apply the FLEX spray wax on top of the MAX wax, would there need to be any curing time between them? Thanks, Phil, for always teaching me something practical that makes my feeble efforts at detailing better!

Hi one question if I did the process of Decon,Claying,polishing and wax on my car to reapply wax do I have to do the whole process again or just apply wax??
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. So that depends on the condition of the paint. Does it feel smooth still from the last time you used a clay bar? If, so I would just wash dry and reapply protection. If it feels like it needs another clay baring then do that. You can most likely skip the polishing part with f the paint looks good. But if the clay bar does mar the paint a little, then machine apply your wax with a soft pad and that will remove the marring and quicken up the waxing part also.

Cool thanks

Gr8 vid Phil. Very thorough and practical. New TW products look top shelf. I love the MAX Wax - have not machine applied it - good tip! As far as as removal with the damp towel - I use the Seal&Shine, Hybrid Solutions Ceramics and the MAX/FLEX extensively and use the damp towel with fluffy follow up with all three. I find it works really well with very little extra effort which in several cases is part of the directions and additionally (for me) just eliminates high spots and streaking. Done-BOOM!👊 Happy Holidays to you and the Mrs.. Shine on you crazy diamond!

Phil I have a set of new tires that have a film that purple power and megs non acid wheel and tire has barely removed. Is there a dedicated tire cleaner you would recommend?
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Try this Hyper Foam Cleaner, its strong stuff! If that still doesn't cut it then you may have to use a solvent like mineral spirits or even lacquer thinner and wipe down the rubber on the tire. I've had to do that in the past on really tough to clean tires with a weird film on them.

A wash and wax. Very cool. You know sometimes when your detailing you don't play background music it helps. I could kinda pick up the clay bar taking out the contamination. Could also tell how soft the bristles were on detail brushes. I might be crazy, but detailing, for me, is about the senses. The wheel and tire products look legit. I'm jealous. 65 degrees? Mannn, I love this! Great review about the Turtle Wax products. I am very happy and impressed with Turtle Wax. They're definitely becoming the garage favorite again. One thing I will say about the Magic Eraser, while I do agree you should be careful and be gentle when using it, however on older cars on older vinyl and leather, I have seen this thing causing more problems than actually helping. For example, on my 95 M3, when I was cleaning the arm rest in the center, while it did remove the sweat and stuff, it also marred the leather a bit. And this was with GENTLE pressure. One thing I did do was used, and don't laugh, clay lube spray from Mother's and it not only cleaned well, but was much more gentle on the old leather. I figured I toss that bit out. Again, for older vehicles. Can't wait to watch your review about the Armor All Ceramic products. I think you're going to be quite impressed, Phil. ;) And yes, I was out that day as well when it was 60 degrees out (this Christmas as well), but it rained up in our area. My car immediately got dirty again. It wasn't even in the forecast either. :( Merry Christmas Phil family!!!

@@MirandaDetailing Any time my man, any time. By the way, how have the interior ceramic coating/revitalizer compounds been working out for you? Have you been seeing white residue stuff, or drying out? I'm seeing some odd behavior from my Chemical Guys leather conditioners, which is making me a little antsy. I also used Lexol and the Turtle Wax leather cleaner/conditioner, and they outperformed the Chemical Guys leather conditioner in terms of cold morning stiffness of the leather in my cars. However, once everything warms up, the chemical guys product goes back to making the leather feel supple again. It's really weird. Have you experienced something like this before?

Hi Phil, I find TW products to be totally crap. Won’t use them in my shop. It’s only for some weekend warrior and honestly to them I say, buy better quality. TW are putting so much money into marketing and hype and the products are rubbish. Take the 75th wax,… butter on your car would probably do better! Only thing that still is ok is Seal and shine.
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
That's really weird! I figured you have used them extensively to test? We have found them to be amazing for us! I really don't get why some are having problems with them. I mean the products are not ground breaking or miracle working. But they certainly work as intended and sometimes better. I wasn't a big fan of the Hybrid Wash and Wax, but everything else is great. We have used some so called "Professional Grade" products before and found them to be lacking also, like the Rupes Uno Pure...way to greasy and creates a film that we couldn't remove easily. Menzerna Polishes also left behind greasy film that was hard to remove. The Flex 15mm Cordless Polisher it's nice....the SPTA has more power and feels better. I would never again spend $500 on a polisher like it. (I actually bought it myself too) Countless others we have used through-out the years. I have found it comes down to personal preference and not always product ot tool performance. That's why I no longer put emphasis on "reviewing" products. I don't even believe others when they give glowing or scathing reviews. I pay no attention to it them anymore because its ALL biased. I will make up my OWN mind when it comes to products and tools of any sort. But I will also never bash or talk negatively about a product publicly. At least not in such a negative way as a I see others do. I find it unprofessional and very deceiving. People have to try the tools and products out for themselves to truly understand and make up their own minds. I know others do not agree, but it's ok, everyone's entitled to their opinion based off of their findings. It's just not cool when people go negative or accuse others of something that they know nothing of. I say this in general, and not about you personally. 👍👍
